Medical Devices Tattoo Removal Methods

Medical devices for tattoo removal mainly include the following types:

Laser Tattoo Removal Machines:

Principle: They use laser technology to remove or lighten tattoos on human skin. These machines direct high-energy laser beams onto the tattooed area to decompose and eliminate tattoo pigments.

Characteristics: Laser tattoo removal machines can adjust laser parameters based on the color and size of the tattoo to achieve optimal results. The treatment process may cause mild discomfort, pain, or temporary skin irritation, and appropriate skin care is required after treatment.
Types: Include Q-switched lasers, picosecond lasers (such as PicoWay Ultra-Picosecond and Keying Picosecond Laser Treatment Devices), and dye lasers. Among them, picosecond lasers, due to their short pulse width and strong blasting ability, can more effectively pulverize pigment particles into smaller particles, which are then metabolized out of the body faster, improving the effectiveness of a single treatment.

Non-invasive Tattoo Removal Devices:
Principle: They utilize specific technologies (such as non-invasive techniques and photothermal effects) to remove tattoos without causing significant trauma to the skin.
Characteristics: They usually offer higher comfort and safety but may require multiple treatments to achieve the desired effect.
Types: Include non-invasive eyebrow and tattoo removal machines, and black technology non-invasive eyebrow removal machines.

Radiofrequency Tattoo Removal Devices:
Principle: They use the thermal energy generated by radiofrequency waves to act on the tattooed area, stimulating collagen regeneration and skin tightening while helping to decompose tattoo pigments.
Characteristics: Radiofrequency tattoo removal devices are typically used to assist in skin repair and tightening after tattoo removal but may have limited effectiveness when used alone for tattoo removal.

Surgical Tattoo Removal:
For larger or difficult-to-remove tattoos, surgical removal may sometimes be necessary. Surgical methods include dermabrasion, excision and suturing, etc.
Characteristics: Surgical tattoo removal usually yields more significant results but may leave scars and require a longer recovery period.
